MToP Mastering the Technology of Participation


MToP (Mastering the Technology of Participation) is annual 12 day training program in facilitative leadership and facilitating participation.   MToP  provides a theoretical foundation for the ToP methods as well as opportunities for practice, coaching, and inquiry.  A learning community is created that supports and deepens the participant's journey. Included are mentoring opportunities for participants in their own practice and with other participants. 

Program Components:
Participants will have the opportunity to create a learning community to support and deepen their journey through ...

1. Intensives:
* Three days of training each quarter (12 days over the year), focusing on theoretical and experiential learning
* Depth interchange with program colleagues

2. Field Experience:
* Practical applications of ToP methods between training sessions in participant's workplace and community arranged by the participant.
* Individual research project in the field of facilitation that is presented to the group for feedback.

3. Mentor Relationships:
* A one-hour mentoring conversation each month with ICA ToP Mentor Trainers.
* Forty-eight hours during the twelve months of on-site mentoring in facilitated programs.
