MNToP Facilitating Conciliation:
___________Beyond Problem Solving

Our society is struggling to discover alternatives to the common adversarial approaches to dealing with disputes. Conflict is built right into life and is part of the creative process, yet adversarial negotiation from power and fixed positions deepens the divide and expands the problem. Facilitating Conciliation shows a facilitative way for working though and getting beyond the entrenchment of multi-party, multi-issue conflict.

MNToP

This course focuses on 3 areas

Understanding Conflict
Discover what keeps us apart. Learn what sustains it and keeps it alive. Explore ways to get to the root causes of our disputes and differences.

Achieving Real Conciliation
Learn a way to come together in ways that go beyond win - lose scenarios.  Discover ways to determine  the common problems the group faces.  Learn the steps to enable a group to work together toward a solution in which everyone wins.

Facilitating the Conciliation Process
Learn best practices from ToP® faciliators who are known worldwide for their deep respect for all participants and who build long-lasting, relationships between all parties. ToP® methods have been tried and tested around the world for over four decades and  work across national, ethnic, religious, socio-economic and gender lines.

• This course is a very good follow-up to Group Facilitation Methods for those involved in negotiation, mediation and conciliation work.
